As a Data Scientist youll work hands-on with the latest technologies and collaborate closely with experts from Romania and France.
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly analytical and innovative Data Scientist to join our team. You will leverage your expertise in statistics machine learning and data analysis to turn complex data into actionable insights and predictive models. You will collaborate with business stakeholders data engineers and other data professionals to drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Required competencies/experience:
- You have an intermediate proficiency in French B1 minimum
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Data Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar data analytics or research role.
- Strong knowledge of statistics (descriptive inferential hypothesis testing etc.).
- Expertise in machine learning algorithms and frameworks (supervised/unsupervised learning model evaluation etc.).
- Proficiency with Python for data analysis visualization and modeling (Pandas NumPy Scikit-learn etc.).
- Solid understanding of database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL); able to write queries and manipulate large datasets.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Nice to have:
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI Tableau Matplotlib Seaborn etc.).
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms (AWS GCP Azure).
- Knowledge of big data technologies (Spark Hadoop).
- Understanding of data engineering concepts and ETL processes.
