Salary Range: $19.66 - $22.88/hour

ESSENTIAL DUTIES FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Processes documentation for stock item receipts (Direct Issues/Stores Stock); maintains issues and re-orders supplies keeps records and prepare standard reports such as variances between actual and estimated costs.
Indicates replenishment quantity to meet the user needs prevent outages and minimizes inventory costs.
Coordinates with warehouse personnel to ensure stock maintenance adjust stock levels and establish re-order points.
Provides information on stock levels supply usage and assists with orders of medical supplies.
Contacts customers and/or vendors and others to obtain material status information follow up on urgently required items and/or expedite delivery of supplies to the units (inpatient/outpatient) and the Emergency Room.
Investigates reconciles recurring discrepancies relating to actions such as receipt control stock control inventory adjustments.
Initiates prepares edits and processes requisitions to stock additional supplies or replenish supplies.
Searches catalogs records or other data sources to obtain or correct stock numbers or to find authorized substitutes for stock items.
Maintains an accurate accounting and reporting system for medical supplies and perform standardized supply management control processes.
Operates computer terminals or personal computers to perform records search data input and data corrections.
Maintains par levels for departmental and warehouse supplies.
Informs customers of supply shortages and ensures all shortages are ordered in a timely manner.
Provides technical assistance and makes suggestions to clinical inpatient and ER personnel for additions or deletions of supplies.
Inspects orders jointly with Prime Vendor to ensure all supplies are accurate and delivered to appropriate area.
Receives and screens pick lists or other documents specifying supplies or medical supplies needed.
Ensures accounting package is accurate to the inventory holding.
Processes the Inventory Adjustment form for damaged and/or expired supplies for disposition and inventory adjustments.
Conducts physical inventories and adjust and/or maintain inventory stock and/or supply records.
Participates in continuous quality improvement projects.
Abides by safety hazards and observes warehouse safety and fire prevention regulations.
Prepares outgoing shipments ensuring delivery to correct recipients and obtaining/recording all necessary documentation.
Ensures all warehouse areas are kept tidy safe and secure at all times.
Ensures that stored medical grade products are separately stored from industrial grade products.
Performs other duties as assigned.
MANDATORY MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:
Two (2) years of stocking inventory management storeroom or warehouse experience.
Education:
High School Diploma or High School Equivalent (HSE).
