Job Summary
Position Description:
Design implement and manage VMware vSphere vCenter ESXi hosts and clusters.
Configure and maintain VMware vSAN HCX as applicable
Perform capacity planning performance tuning and proactive monitoring of VMware infrastructure.
Lead and support migration projects part of data center consolidation
Troubleshoot complex virtualization compute storage and network issues.
Apply patches upgrades and lifecycle management using VMware Lifecycle Manager.
Ensure high availability disaster recovery and business continuity for virtualized workloads.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (storage network security application) to ensure seamless infrastructure operations.
Document technical processes prepare SOPs and provide knowledge transfer to junior engineers.
Participate in on-call support and handle escalations as a subject matter expert (SME).
Strong knowledge in PowerShell scripting
Any Cloud skills will be an added advantage
