Were looking for a PERL Developer to join our team where youll play a key role in creating and supporting applications that keep our systems running smoothly and our users happy.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain PERL CGI web-based applications integrated with an Oracle SQL backend on a Linux open-source platform.
Create and optimize dynamic web content driven by database queries.
Perform testing debugging and documentation of code prior to production deployment.
Collaborate with end users to gather requirements and clarify details for bug resolution or feature enhancements.
Implement fixes and enhancements assigned through the Bugzilla tracking system.
Participate in peer code reviews ensuring quality assurance testing and proper documentation of changes.
Utilize Git for version control and code repository management.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related IT field with a focus on software development.
At least 1 year of experience with JavaScript HTML CSS and SQL including a strong understanding of relational databases.
Minimum 1 year of CGI web application development experience using PERL on an open-source stack (e.g. LAMP).
At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Linux including:
- Command-line navigation
- File creation and editing with a shell-based editor
