Overview

The Associate Driver Recruiter is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting process to meet and exceed recruitment goals for Company Drivers and Owner Operators throughout our operations in the United States. The Associate Driver Recruiter provides superior customer service to hiring managers by attracting both active and passive candidates. This position reports to the Manager of Driver Recruiting.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a business partner to perform full life-cycle recruitment of drivers including: candidate sourcing interviewing/evaluating candidate fit selection/offer and facilitating a positive candidate experience

  • Proactively identifies effective sources or other creative techniques to identify the best pool of candidates in a timely and cost effective manner. Utilizes various methods to source for the positions including resume searches cold-calling/communicating social media strategies employee referrals internal posting program networking activities online advertising etc.

  • Communicates with management and other recruiters to expedite driver application and onboarding process

  • Manage the recruitment process through the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) by initiating and submitting all required forms and letters; ensures candidates receive applicable paperwork throughout hiring process

  • Utilize the ATS to build a pipeline of talent for future staffing needs

  • Travels to SCTI locations to support recruiting start-ups and location specific recruiting

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED required bachelors degree preferred

  • HR or Administrative experience preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to build strong relationships with candidates hiring managers and HR business partners to ensure a successful hiring and on-boarding process

  • Proven ability to successfully meet deliverables and excel in a fast paced challenging environment

  • Ability to source talent from a variety of sources including: internet sourcing job postings/advertisements direct sourcing resume database employee referrals networking etc.

  • Ability to utilize an Applicant Tracking System (TenStreet) to manage requisitions candidates and create a pipeline of talent

  • Effective interpersonal and presentation skills. Ability to speak confidently about the companys business and strategic visions

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word Excel and PowerPoint

  • Must have attributes of a dedicated and resourceful self-starter that can deliver results
