Faculty Opening

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the junior level (Assistant or untenured Associate Professor). We invite applications from individuals working at the frontiers of electrical and computer engineering broadly defined. While we give highest priority to the overall originality and promise of the candidates work particular areas of interest in this search include research which combines information sciences and physical devices to drive new applications. An earned PhD evidence of the ability to pursue a program of research and a strong commitment to graduate and undergraduate teaching are required. A successful candidate will be expected to teach courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels and to build and lead a team of graduate students in PhD research.

The expected base pay range for this position is:

Assistant Professor: $141247- $159910

Associate Professor (untenured): $152547 - $191506

This base pay range is for a nine-month academic appointment and does not include summer salary.
