The Sales & Marketing Coordinator will assists in both Marketing advertisement and Sales Broker functions as well as ensure an organized and productive environment for the Sales and Marketing Department.

GENERAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Advertisement:
a. Distributes appropriate advertisements to local newspaper publications and Chamber events.
2. Direct Mail:
a. Inputs information and make changes on current templates for flyers and advertisements. Edits must be approved by Marketing Manager.
b. Maintains timeframes on deadlines for advertisements regarding events.
3. Proofreading Marketing Materials:
a. Assists the Marketing Manager with the creation and proofreading of brochures flyers member letters and all pre- and post-enrollment materials. Additionally any other information for member distribution (for new current and/or retention efforts).
4. Commission:
a. Calculates and tracks monthly legacy lives payments to all FMO Agencies and Agents
b. Coordinates information with Finance Department and distributes commission to FMO Agencies and Agents.
c. Calculates and tracks monthly commission and chargebacks to all FMO Agencies.
d. Prepares the monthly commission reports/Attestations for the VP of Sales to review and approve.
e. Coordinates information with Finance Department and distributes the commission reports to each FMO Agency on a monthly basis.
f. Communicates with FMOs for day-to-day operations regarding any discrepancies with commission.

5. Inventory:
a. Controls process and tracks all print material in the Sales and Marketing Department when requested.
6. Media:
a. Maintains a chronological date book of media advertisements including specific campaigns and co-branded marketing ads that AHC prints with partners.
7. Other projects or duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

Required: Minimum 2 years of experience in grass roots marketing efforts generating leads at local in-person community events.

Preferred: Healthcare marketing experience. Related experience in the Medicare and Medi-Cal Managed Care industry.

Education:

Required: High School Diploma or GED. Bachelors degree or four years additional experience in lieu of education.

  • Ability to communicate positively professionally and effectively with others; provide leadership teach and collaborate with others.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to establish and maintain a constructive relationship with diverse members management employees and vendors;
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10s and 100s. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement volume and distance.
  • Reasoning Skills: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Computer Skills: Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Word Excel Powerpoint Outlook). Beginner/Intermediate experience with Adobe Photoshop Illustrator InDesign and Acrobat. Basic knowledge of audio/visual aids. Mathematical Skills: Ability to perform mathematical calculations and calculate simple statistics correctly
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Effective problem solving organizational and time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Report Analysis Skills: Comprehend and analyze statistical reports.

Licensure:

Required: Valid Drivers License and valid car insurance and registration

Pay Range: $53210.00 - $79815.00

Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location education responsibilities experience etc.
