How will your ideas contribute to shaping whats next

As our new Lead Transmission Lines Engineer youll be part of an eminent and diverse team delivering some of the biggest and most complex transmission line projects in Victoria and across Australia. Youll play a pivotal role in planning designing and delivering high-voltage transmission infrastructure (typically 132kV and above) supporting Australias energy transition and grid modernisation.

Your role will include:

• Conducting technical assessments and feasibility studies for major transmission line projects.
• Leading and reviewing designs specifications and drawings for transmission lines (132kV and above).
• Ensuring compliance with Australian codes standards and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborating with utilities EPCs and government agencies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Providing design leadership and mentoring within the team to ensure technical excellence.
• Supporting construction testing and commissioning activities.

What are we looking for from you
Youll have a genuine passion for building the future of Australias energy grid. We value the unique skills each person brings and were looking for someone with:

• Bachelors degree in Civil/Structural Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
• 10 years experience in transmission line engineering with proven HV (132kV and above) design capability.
• Proficiency in transmission line design tools (e.g. PLS-CADD PLS TOWER PLS POLE).
• Experience working with utilities transmission asset owners or EPC contractors.
• Strong technical leadership skills with the ability to guide a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledgeable on Australian and International standards and industry codes of practice for transmission lines.
• Must be a Registered Professional Engineers in Victoria (RPEV)
