Business Systems Supervisor Nucor Towers & Stuctures

Basic Job Functions:

Nucor Towers & Structures (NTS) is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Business Systems Supervisor.

You will be responsible for supporting the effective use of NTS business applications by partnering with business teams to understand their needs and ensure seamless integration. You will work closely with the Nucor Business Technology (NBT) team and Divisional Management teams to ensure that the IT services are meeting the needs of overall business strategy and goals. You will also be responsible for supervising the teammates in NTS locations and ensure that they deliver high-quality support and services.

This is a full-time permanent position with the NTS Team. Some travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with NTS divisions to drive consistent standards and processes implementing the IT application strategy that supports the needs of each division.
• Partner with business stakeholders to promote simplification standardization and innovation to understand their technology needs and ensure that D365 and related application and infrastructure services are delivered in a timely and effective manner.
• Manage a team of IT or business professionals including hiring development and performance management.
• Monitor and analyze the performance of the IT infrastructure identify areas for improvement and develop plans to address them.
• Collaborate with other IT teams such as application development infrastructure and cybersecurity to ensure that the overall technology environment is available secure and reliable.
• Oversee and report on projects to controllers and NBT leadership ensure they are executed on schedule.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in computer science information technology or a related field.
• Experience in managing IT projects with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong technical knowledge of D365(ERP) software related application and infrastructure.
• Experience managing a team of IT professionals including hiring training and performance management. Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a large complex organization with multiple divisions is preferred.
