Job Summary
Were looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our this role youll play a key part in maintaining a safe functional and welcoming environment for our employees clients and guests. Youll be responsible for performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and construction tasks ensuring our facilities remain clean secure and in top condition.
What Youll Do
- Complete daily weekly and monthly scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance tasks.
- Ensure all walkways inside and outside are clean and clear of debris snow ice and other hazards.
- Maintain walls and doors within the buildings by touching up paint on all surfaces. When completing these tasks ensure workspace is kept clean and all paint residue is removed.
- Complete all basic building facility related tasks (changing light bulbs basic carpentry plumbing electrical painting janitorial etc.) as directed or as needed upon your inspection.
- Assist with outdoor building painting and occasional maintenance at our various facilities in Manchester and Bedford NH.
- On a weekly basis empty all recycling receptacles and trash bins wash each bin and replace bins for use.
- Assist with renovations/remodeling of building as directed.
- As needed build/dismantle and move furniture appliances etc. properly and safely from building or for use within the building.
- Organize all incoming supplies and materials within the appropriate and predesignated space.
- Consult with the VP of Office Management on the need for third-party vendors and manage their schedule work expectations and quality of work.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of product/cleaning supply areas as well as personal office space and ensure each area is clean organized and free from hazards.
- Handle facility-related emergencies in a timely manner during both working and non-working hours.
- Be accountable to completing all work as assigned by Leader.
- Update and record all time worked daily in provided time-tracking software.
What You Need to Succeed
- Must have contractor experience: basic carpentry plumbing electrical knowledge.
- Flexible work schedule and ability to work early mornings nights weekends etc.
- Work with minimum supervision.
- Problem Solving Skills in maintenance requests.
- Travel required to various facilities and stores as necessary.
- Valid U.S. Drivers license and proof of Insurance.
