Job Summary

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Senior Java Developer position! This is a 12 month contract opportunity and will be hybrid in Buffalo NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services. The ideal candidate is a strong Java Developer with Spring Boot experience.

What Youll Be Doing:

Design specify information systems solutions and provide the highest level technical direction in the development of new or existing applications.
Act as a principal application designer for critical components and major modifications.
Complete and oversee the most complex systems analysis design and development efforts.
Provide analytical consulting and leadership for identifying and implementing technology solutions.
Coordinate development tasks and oversee less experienced resources.
Prepare and manage technical project components and documentation.
Develop and execute test plans debug as needed and evaluate interrelated programs and platforms.
Recommend and lead technical evaluations of vendor software and propose new technologies.
Maintain efficiency and effectiveness of supported applications and development environments.
Assist with budget development and monitor employee performance when applicable.
Ensure adherence to internal control standards and regulatory requirements.

What Youll Need to Have:

6 years Java development experience.
Experience with Spring Boot Angular Microservices architecture CI/CD pipelines and Azure cloud services.
Background in the banking or financial services industry.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Associates degree and 6 years of systems analysis/application development experience; or 8 years of combined higher education and work experience.
Experience coordinating between applications and business units.
Strong problem-solving communication organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency with development platforms and project management tools.
Experience mentoring others and providing technical leadership.
Ability to manage complex projects independently and in a team environment.

Pay Range:$68-$83/hr
