Essential Job Functions

Learns guests names and uses them to address them; remembers regular guests favorite drinks.
Thoroughly and correctly sets up the bar or lounge prior to opening and cleans at end of shift according to AURO Hotels policies and brand standards to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.
Is knowledgeable about all menu items and beverages served; the garnish contents and preparation methods. Is aware of all daily specials and 86 items. Can answer guests questions regarding such with confidence and accuracy.
Utilizes suggestive selling techniques to increase check averages.
Serve guest order promptly according to service standards.
Must have a valid TIPS or other Alcohol Awareness Certification within two weeks of hire and maintain valid certificate throughout employment.
Part-time hours available (up to 30 hours per week); must have open availability for evenings holidays and weekends.

Experience/Education

High school diploma or general education degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Must be able to speak read and understand English.
