Schedule: Monday thru Friday 7am to 3pm

What Youll Do:

• Assuredaily scheduled production is completed in a timely and cost efficient manner.
• Trainnew personnel.
• Setup machine and removal of tools and assures processes are done in a timely orderly and cost efficient manner.
• Assure completed product meets specifications of customer needs.
• Assurecustomer expectations are consistently met in terms of quality quantity and product is produced in a timely manner consistent with established guidelines.
• Assurepreventative maintenance schedule is consistently adhered to.
• Maintainexcellent housekeeping and general organization in the converting production areas.
• Supportand providesuggestions for continuous improvement activities to improve processes and procedures.
• Maintain a consistent positive attendance point status.
• Supportand adhereto internal quality and safety programs.

Things to Know:

• Demonstrated ability to perform and document all ISO Quality checks required.
• Demonstrated ability to proficiently set up all machines relative to job assignment in a standard time. Ie. Small Trimmer Slotter Brause Die Cutter.
• Demonstrated ability to proficiently trouble shoot and make all machine adjustments relative to job assignment.
• Ability and willingness to learn new computer software.
• Thorough understanding of spec cards and correction of non-conforming product procedures.
• Thorough understanding of Standard Work Instructions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

2. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand for an extended number of hours per shift walk bend twist stoop squat and use hands to handle or feel objects tools or controls.
3. The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
4. The employee is required to reach with fingers hands and arms.
5. Must be able to perform repetitive hand wrist and arm motions.
6. The employee must regularly lift push or pull and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
7. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• The job is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise dust varying temperatures and moving mechanical parts.
• Safety gear must be worn as required.

What Youll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 months working experience in a factory environment
• Must possess proficient communication skills in the English language in reading writing and verbal communication.
• Demonstrated math skills including addition subtraction multiplication and decimal addition and subtraction.
• Must possess ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32 of an inch.
• Ability to lift bend stand and twist over a long periods of time.
• Must possess strong interpersonal organizational and motivational skills.
• Ability to maintain diplomacy confidentiality and tact essential as individual has access to high levels of cost design and company sensitive materials.
• Must be able to work with frequently changing priorities.
