Are you passionate about community and wellness Our Mental Health program is designed to maintain the dignity and realize the potential of teens and youth who are living with mental illness. As the Mental Wellness Facilitator you will be responsible for delivering psycho-educational programming to identified individuals living with mental illness. Y Mind is based in ACT (Acceptance and commitment Therapy) and mindfulness. You will ensure the service delivery involves a trauma-informed and recovery oriented psychosocial rehabilitation approach and community support system.

- Deliver specialized skill development courses which promote group interaction participation positive communication and individual accomplishment.
- Plan individualized coaching interventions to move individuals progressively towards their goals
- Provide appropriate outreach and community resource assistance to participants
What else do you need
- Post-Secondary Education in Social Service/Health Service field (i.e Psychology Counselling psychology Social Work Psychiatric Nursing Health Services/Sciences etc.)
- 2-3 years experience working in a similar role
- Mental health or counselling experience
- Emergency First Aid and CPR Level C (can provide)
- Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST)
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) (an asset)
- Excellent verbal written communication and interpersonal skills
