What you will do

This is an important claims support role that helps keep our claims processes efficient organizing and moving. With skills in detail orientation and organization you will sort and index claims-related documents on a daily basis so our claims adjusters can begin their work in servicing our customers. Other administrative tasks will be assigned to help you learn grow and develop into the role. This is your opportunity to begin your career in the insurance industry!

Key responsibilities

  • Complete jurisdictional reporting for all lines of business based on various jurisdictional requirements as well as Medicare reporting and any related error correction.
  • Process billing invoices.
  • Complete any necessary forms and letters to be sent to relevant parties as requested by the Claims Adjuster.
  • Request and obtain relevant documentation for a claim as requested by the Claims Adjuster and ensure timely follow up.
  • Mail and print letters files and other relevant claims documents.
  • Perform work within vendor web portals.
  • Perform research while working exception reports.
  • Complete all required internal claims reports timely.
  • Efficiently handle all Imaging document received via paper and email and ensure documents are forwarded to the proper claims or entities.
  • Code First Notice of Loss glass and towing claims.
  • Review and route loss notices received to ensure timely claim setup and adjuster assignment.
  • Perform financial transaction job tasks such as cash receipts and transfers.
  • Manual Exception check handling.
  • Update vendor file with new vendors or updates to existing vendors.

Additional responsibilities

  • Performs other duties asassigned.
  • Conforms with all corporate policies andprocedures.

What you need

  • Associates degree preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2 years working in a Claims environment preferred but not required.

Salary range: $33000 - $40000

The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range will take into consideration the individuals work experience geographic location education certification(s) or additional qualifications and scope and responsibilities within the role.
