TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
Three years experience in a general administrative staff or specialized staff capacity* analyzing and making recommendations for the solution of organization systems and procedures program facility planning budget procurement or personnel one year which must have been at a skilled level**

One years experience as an Administrative Assistant II*** or Staff Assistant II****.

*Staff capacityis defined as having work in an organization assisting and supporting administration in the operation of its function by doing research analysis and making recommendations to line managers on matters such as utilization of personnel allocation of funds workload and workload fluctuations and programs and procedures for accomplishing work objectives.
**Skilled levelis defined as the degree of competence or expertise a person possesses. Performing at a higher level of proficiency.
*** Administrative Assistant II:Analyzes and makes recommendations for the solution of a variety of problems of organization budget systems and procedures program facilities planning general management and personnel.
****Staff Assistant II:Assists the manager of major division or bureau in a County department by analyzing and making recommendations for the solution of a variety of problems of organization budget procedures systems program general management and personnel.
LICENSE:
A valid California Class C Driver License or the ability to utilize an alternative method of transportation when needed to carry out job-related essential functions.
PHYSICAL CLASS:
Physical Class II Light: This class includes administrative and clerical positions requiring light physical effort that may include occasional light lifting to a 10 pound limit and some bending stooping or squatting. Considerable ambulation may be involved.
EXAMINATION CONTENT:
Under the emergency order applicants who meet the requirements may be hired for an initial period of up to 90 days with an opportunity for permanent County employment.
Before the end of your initial work period you will be assessed on your work performance. This assessment will be weighted 100%. Those who successfully pass the assessment will be considered for permanent appointment.

Veterans Credit:
