Job Summary
Job Summary
This is a Community Service Work Study student employment position. Applicants must have Federal Work Study funds in their Financial Aid package. This position reports to the Lead Policy Coordinator (supervisor) and assigned Policy Coordinator (manager). The Policy Director reports to educational or programmatic institutions. The interns will work on the Policy team and engage with Unite Oregon members partners and staff. They will contribute to support and execute policy programs that build power for our communities. This work will not involve any political activity. Major areas of work include UO 6 pillar issue areas. Location : Remote
Minimum Qualifications
Must have Federal Work Study fund in Financial Aid Package (contact with questions)
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated commitment to social and racial justice. Interest in legislative and electoral processes. Familiarity with latest technology and tools. Effective communicator both written and verbal. Ability to research and present data.
