Position Title: Anatomical Pathologist

Position Summary
A reputable healthcare institution in Switzerland is seeking a qualified and experienced Anatomical Pathologist to join its medical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the macroscopic and microscopic evaluation of tissue samples contribute to multidisciplinary tumor boards and support the training of junior medical staff.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex diagnostic assessments on biopsies and surgical specimens
- Participate in intraoperative consultations (frozen sections) and on-call rotations
- Ensure accurate and timely pathology reporting in line with clinical needs
- Prepare and participate in internal and external multidisciplinary meetings (tumor boards)
- Support the training and supervision of assistant physicians
- Contribute to quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives within the department
Candidate Profile
- Medical degree with specialization in pathology (FMH certification or MEBEKO-recognized equivalent required)
- Comprehensive training and experience in surgical pathology
- Additional qualifications in cytopathology and/or molecular pathology are an asset
- Strong diagnostic accuracy reliability and professional responsibility
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- High adaptability and commitment to integration in a collaborative environment
- Fluent in French both written and spoken (minimum B2 level required)
