Job Summary

Position: Aviation Civil Engineer

NARIK CONSULTING LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aviation Civil Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities:

Design and oversee construction of various aviation infrastructure projects including runways taxiways aprons and terminal buildings
Conduct site investigations and surveys to gather necessary data for project planning and design
Prepare design plans specifications and cost estimates for aviation projects
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards including FAA regulations and local building codes
Collaborate with project managers clients and other stakeholders to ensure project goals are met
Review and approve contractor submittals and resolve any design issues that may arise during construction
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure project specifications are met
Prepare and review project reports progress updates and other project documentation
Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and new technologies to continuously improve project designs and processes
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and technicians

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Knowledge and understanding of AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation
Detailed Construction Costs Estimating
Technical Specification Writing
Proficient in MS Office Software
Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation engineering with a focus on design and construction of airport infrastructure
Strong knowledge of FAA regulations and standards
Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
Excellent project management and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel for project assignments
