About Us
We are a growing electrical contractor specializing in commercial and industrial projects. We are looking for an experienced electrical foreman to lead a team of electricians and oversee shop production. This role does not require a prefab background but a Texas Journeyman License is required. If you have strong leadership skills technical expertise and a commitment to quality we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage a crew of 2-10 electricians including apprentices and journeymen
- Oversee shop production schedules and ensure work stays on track
- Conduct quality control inspections to meet industry standards and project requirements
- Maintain and oversee shop equipment to ensure proper functionality
- Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials
- Train and mentor junior electricians fostering a strong team environment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations to maintain a safe workplace
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical work
- State of Texas Journeyman License (required)
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems codes and safety regulations
- Experience in project scheduling quality control and team leadership
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- High school diploma or GED required
