Job Summary
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
Registered Nurse Manager - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
RN MGR - NICU
Full-Time
Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit will have the following job responsibilities:
- We are seeking a Nurse Manager Neonatal ICU NICU for our facility to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality efficient care.
- You will assist the Director with all department activities to assure a coordinated effort in fulfilling department responsibilities with the long-range plan mission vision and values of the facility.
- You will assist in coordinating the departments participation in Performance Improvement activities to assure continuous Quality Improvement.
- You will ensure that nursing care is based on the nursing process and evaluates the effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
- You will provide clinical support to the nursing staff.
- You will be responsible assisting planning implementing and evaluating care for patients in the Womens Services Units.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
Registered Nurse Manager - Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
RN MGR - NICU
Full-Time
Registered Nurse Manager candidates for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- 2 years of Recent (Within the last year) Acute Care NICU Leadership (Manager or Charge Nurse) experience required.
- BSN required.
- Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 60 days of hire date)
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification is required
