Job Summary

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-

RN- Medical & Surgical Unit

RN - MED/SURG

Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Unit will have the following job responsibilities:

Assessing planning implementing and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
Evaluating medical information as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
Preparing administering and recording prescribed medications.
Changing dressings inserting catheters and starting IVs.
Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
Monitoring patients vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS-

RN- Medical & Surgical Unit

RN - MED/SURG

Full-Time NIGHTS

Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:

Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
Candidates need to have ACUTE CARE RN EXPERIENCE (it doesnt need to be in the Med-Surg) * The ACUTE CARE RN EXPERIENCE needs to be within 3 years UNLESS THE CANDIDATE HAS SEVERAL YEARS OF OF RN EXPERIENCE THEN IT CAN BE WITHIN THE LAST 5 YEARS!!!
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
Critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing bending reaching squatting kneeling moving lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.

Sal range: $27 (2yr)- 31 (5 yr)- 34 (10yr) 39 (15yr MAX)

SIGN ON : 15k
