JOB RESPONSIBILITIES-
RN- Medical & Surgical Unit
RN - MED/SURG
Full-Time NIGHTS
Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Unit will have the following job responsibilities:
- Assessing planning implementing and evaluating patient care plans in consultation with healthcare professionals.
- Evaluating medical information as well as providing direct and individualized bedside nursing care to pre-and post-surgery patients.
- Preparing administering and recording prescribed medications.
- Changing dressings inserting catheters and starting IVs.
- Adjusting specialized medical equipment as needed as well as interpreting and recording measurements.
- Monitoring patients vitals and reporting adverse reactions to medications in a timely manner.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS-
RN- Medical & Surgical Unit
RN - MED/SURG
Full-Time NIGHTS
Registered Nurse candidates for the Med/Surg Unit must meet the following minimum job qualifications:
- Current FL RN license required or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held active FL RN license required within 90 days of hire.
- Current certification as a BLS Healthcare Provider.
- Candidates need to have ACUTE CARE RN EXPERIENCE (it doesnt need to be in the Med-Surg) * The ACUTE CARE RN EXPERIENCE needs to be within 3 years UNLESS THE CANDIDATE HAS SEVERAL YEARS OF OF RN EXPERIENCE THEN IT CAN BE WITHIN THE LAST 5 YEARS!!!
- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Customer service abilities including effective listening skills.
- Critical thinking skills decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing bending reaching squatting kneeling moving lifting of patients and/or equipment up to 50 pounds.
Sal range: $27 (2yr)- 31 (5 yr)- 34 (10yr) 39 (15yr MAX)
