The Department of Political and Global Affairs at Middle Tennessee State University invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track faculty position (#128170) in American politics at the rank of assistant or associate professor. The start date for the position is August 1 2026.
The department is searching for a dynamic teacher and emerging researcher who can contribute to American politics courses across multiple concentrations in our department. Applicants should be able to teach lower and upper division courses in American politics such as the presidency Congress political parties and public opinion. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and advising professional research and service.

A terminal degree in political science is required by the appointment date.
