We are a fast-growing company seeking a highly skilled Senior Back-End Engineer to join our team in Lahore Pakistan in a hybrid setup that combines the flexibility of remote work with the collaboration benefits of in-office presence.
Position Overview
We are looking for a seasoned back-end engineer with expertise in Django (Python) AWS and AI-driven projects (e.g. LLMs like ChatGPT or LLaMA). The ideal candidate also has experience developing SaaS products with integrated billing modules. This role requires in-office presence every other day in Lahore Pakistan to foster collaboration while retaining the flexibility of remote work.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain scalable back-end services using Django (Python).
- Develop and optimize integrations with billing modules and payment gateways for SaaS platforms.
- Architect and deploy solutions on AWS leveraging services like Lambda S3 EC2 and RDS.
- Lead the development of major product features and ensure their successful delivery.
- Implement AI-driven features utilizing LLMs and machine learning frameworks.
- Collaborate in-office with team members to brainstorm and align on product goals.
- Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Conduct code reviews participate in technical discussions and drive architectural decisions.
- Maintain high coding standards rigorous testing and detailed documentation.
Ideal Candidate
Experience:
- 7 years of experience in back-end development with a focus on SaaS products.
- Expertise in Django (Python) and scalable system design in AWS environments.
- Hands-on experience with billing modules (e.g. Stripe PayPal or custom solutions).
- Proven experience in AI-driven projects involving LLMs like ChatGPT or LLaMA.
- Experience with integrating OpenAI APIs would be a plus.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of database management and optimization (MySQL).
- Familiarity with APIs third-party integrations and asynchronous processing.
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of Amazon Web Services.

- Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.
