Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Steel Foreman to lead a team in the fabrication and installation of structural steel and stainless steel. Our client is a well-established company known for delivering high-quality metalwork on construction projects ensuring precision and customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in steelwork with proven leadership abilities and the capacity to manage teams while overseeing projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise a team in the fabrication assembly and installation of steel structures including beams columns and frameworks.
Read and interpret blueprints and design plans to ensure accurate project execution.
Oversee the operation of machinery and tools used in steel cutting shaping and welding.
Ensure steel components are installed precisely and according to specifications.
Collaborate with project managers engineers and other trades to coordinate project activities.
Enforce safety protocols ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Provide training and guidance to team members fostering a skilled and motivated workforce.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Steel Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in steel fabrication and installation.
Expertise in steelwork techniques including welding cutting and assembly.
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
Strong leadership communication and organizational skills.
Must reside in Malta.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification or formal training in steelwork or a related field.
Familiarity with stainless steel and other metal fabrication processes.
