Position Summary:
V-Tech Solutions Inc. is seeking experienced and detail-oriented candidates to serve as Health Licensing Specialist II in Washington DC. The Health Licensing Specialist II will oversee credentialing and licensing processes for healthcare professionals ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies while also preparing reports and supporting departmental leadership.
Requirements:
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (Associates or Bachelors degree in Health Administration or related field preferred)
- Certification: None required (credentialing or compliance certifications are a plus)
- Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of healthcare credentialing processes and regulatory compliance
Ability to manage credentialing applications reappointments and documentation
Proficiency in data entry and database management systems
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to prepare reports and respond to supervisory direction
Familiarity with healthcare policies guidelines and government regulations
Responsibilities:
- Maintain regular cooperation and compliance with regulatory accreditation and membership-based organizations
- Implement credentialing processes for physicians medical assistants and other healthcare professionals
- Ensure adherence to facility staff and departmental policies and applicable laws
- Review and verify credentialing documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Maintain and update databases with healthcare professionals training education certifications experience and licensure
- Use designated systems to enter and manage credentialing data
- Prepare periodic reports and respond to requests from managers or assigned supervisors
- Perform other duties as assigned to support licensing and compliance functions
