POSITION DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Except as specifically noted the following functions are considered essential to this position:
Facilitates Office Operations with the following tasks:
- Maintain building databases when assigned
- Responsible for maintenance and compliance of all student data.
- Assist in maintaining the student and teacher handbooks and other school specific manuals
- Responsible for tracking student enrollment for both school and state reporting
- Responsible for monitoringdiscipline and attendance trends in PowerSchool to make referrals to the Pupil Services team for review and follow-up
- Prepare and schedule January and June exams-publication proctor assignments/proctor subs
- Prepare OpeningDayPackets for Advisories
- Assist with Advisoryassignments for staff and students
- Assign and maintainlockers assignments
- Organize and coordinateendofyear ceremonies for Seniors and Underclassmen
- Responsible for tracking and reporting daily student attendance in PowerSchool
- Act as the liaison for ensuring that student legal documents are received maintained and communicated as needed. (ie parenting plans restraining orders custody agreements etc).
- Sending notification to staff about missing or incomplete attendance
- Act as the liaison for parents and staff with Powerschool Schoology and Infosnap inquiries as needed
- Responsible for coordinating school sanctioned activities in conjunction with building administration.
- Researching and conducting data to prepare documents for review and presentation by PST and committees.
- With a primary responsibility of supporting the Administrators provide support to the leadership team as directed to ensure that school goals and objectives are accomplished and operations run efficiently
- Maintain and refine internal processes that support to the Administrators coordinating internal and external resources to expedite workflow
- Manage communication between administrators and employees liaising with internal and external executives on various projects and tasks
- Plan and orchestrate work to ensure the senior administrators priorities are met organizational goals are achieved and best practices are upheld
- Set up appointments and maintain the calendar for building Administrators
- Support all functions of the main office
- Assist office visitors including students parents staff officials and members of the community
- Assist with incoming telephone calls.

Facilitates School-Wide Operations with the following tasks:
- Assist with coordinating school sanctioned activities as assigned by building administration such as school-wide assemblies and ceremonies March Intensive staff recognition etc..
- Arranges school-wide functions as assigned
- Maintains confidentiality of information
- Performs all duties in a professional and appropriate manner while interacting with students parents faculty administration and co-workers
- Acts as back-up to Staff Administrative Assistant
- Perform other duties and accepts responsibilities as assigned
- Must comply with all SAU 70 District policy and building / department rules procedures practices and objectives.
Evaluation:
- Performance of duty responsibilities will be reviewed annually by the Associate Principals

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:
- Associates degree or 3 yearsprofessional administrative experience
- Extensive clerical / school office experience preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge & experience of Google Suite required. Experience with Microsoft Office and Powerschool or similar systems preferred
