PRACTICE SPECIFICS On the Outpatient Side (roughly half-time)

On the Outpatient side
Roughly 8 days of clinic spread over 3 weeks
Broad Primary Care Practice
Multispecialty Clinic with support from specialistsand ancillary services
Clinic site has5 Family Physicians
No OB but prenatal care is an option
Telephone call 1:26 peds call only
16-22 patients per day
This position is to prepare for anticipated retirements
On the Inpatient side
Half-time Hospitalists work 1 7-on shift per month.
Day shift only
Partner with existing Hospitalist Program of both full and half-time providers.
Schedule 12 hours shifts with 2-3 weeks of nights; rest of the shifts are days.
Hospitalists will cover ICU with consultative intensivist support.
Total number of physicians in specialty currently in department at practice site: 7. The practice is fully staffed with 8-9 hospitalists.
Average inpatient practice volume per day: Med Surg-71 / ICU-10; divided between 3-4 rounding hospitalist who also share admissions. Average daily census on unit: 50-60
REQUIREMENTS
Board Certified/Board Eligible - Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
Current ACLS

125 miles north of Minneapolis/St. Paul
Brainerd Lakes Area population: 65000; Regional service area: 115000
COMPENSATION
- $315700 - $351000. Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses quality incentives or production-based compensation.
