Job Summary
Job Summary
The Cooker Operator is responsible for running the cooker but their primary job is to unload UCO trailers and move inventory out to finished tanks.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities

- Always conduct yourself in a safe and controlled manner
- Run cooker in an efficient manner within selected parameters
- Clean-up to include but not limited to shoveling the floor hosing floors and machinery down using wheelbarrows and PITs.
- Document accurate inventories and load out finished trucks
- Learn and understand all GMPs and SOPs associated with finished product and document all necessary forms and documents
- Notify office and management of any issues or maintenance problems
- Handle all cleaning and maintenance for tank area and basement. Ask for help when needed.
- All other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Manufacturing industrial or agricultural experience preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a rendering facility or production environment preferred.
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Works well with others in a team environment.
- Dependable; reliable; ability to work nights and/or weekends as needed.
Physical Demands
- Constantly required to walk stand sit climb silos balance stoop kneel crawl and crouch.
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours and work 12 hour shifts occasionally
- Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs.
- Regularly required reach with hands and arms
