Position: Life Enrichment Assistant
As a Life Enrichment Associate youll play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents through arts crafts activities social gatherings and off-campus excursions.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and assist with group and individual resident activities.
- Prepare and clean up rooms for activities.
- Work with residents at various ability levels during activities.
- Communicate changes in resident condition to the Community Life Coordinator.
- Assist in developing monthly calendars tailored to residents interests.
- Monitor attendance transport residents and facilitate participation.
- Conduct satisfaction audits.
- Coordinate special events with the Community Life Director.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma with preferred training/degree in Therapeutic Recreation or health-related field.
- Genuine interest in geriatric and short-term rehab physically challenged or psychologically impaired persons.
- Ability to communicate effectively and foster positive working relationships.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
This is a full-time benefit-eligible position with day hours- and every other evening and one weekend day per month. 8:30-5 or 9:30-6 and when working nights 11:00-7:00 on T-W-TH.
