Work Schedule:
100% Monday Friday working 4 days with 10-hour shifts and a 1:8 weekend rotation. Hours can vary based on operational needs. You will work at University Hospital in Madison WI.

As an Advanced Practice Provider youll play an integral role in our ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
- Provide neurological services including general neurology stroke and neurology consults to adult inpatients at University Hospital. You will care for patients with diagnoses across the spectrum of neurological disorders including but not limited to: stroke seizures epilepsy mental status changes neuromuscular disorders MS headache and movement disorders.
- Work in collaboration with faculty residents fellows surgeons and nursing staff to provide on-going patient care and management.

Education:
If Nurse Practitioner: Masters or Doctorates degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant: Bachelors or Masters degree from accredited PA Program.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure.
If Nurse Practitioner*:
- Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses including prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice AND
- Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Adult.
If Physician Assistant*:
- Active PA license including prescriptive authority in state(s) of practice AND
- Active PA board certification.
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
