This Position reports to:
Senior Software Development EngineerSoftware Developer Intern with C
Join ABBs mission to shape a sustainable future through cutting-edge digital technologies. As a Software Developer Intern youll contribute to the development and testing of industrial software solutions with a focus on C applications and industrial communication protocols. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a global tech company working on next-generation industrial systems
Tasks:
- Developing applications and tests using C
- Helping improve build systems and development workflows.
- Participating in code reviews and contributing to documentation
- Active participation in software tests process.
Requirements:
- Student in STEM or equivalent;
- Good practical level knowledge of C;
- Practical experience in working with software development processes and tools (e.g. Azure DevOps Git VSCode);
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English;
Nice to have:
- 4th or 5th year student in STEM or equivalent;
- Good practical level knowledge of Python Qt framework;
- Experience with PLCs and industrial protocols (e.g. OPCUA);
