THE CLEANERS AT CARMENS EVENT CENTRE HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

Carry out all cleaning tasks as assigned in guest and employee spaces (offices washrooms banquet halls/foyer)
Identify efficient methods to be used in carrying out routine cleaning tasks for desired results
Regularly use various cleaning products
Provide a clean welcoming environment for guests vendors and employees
Collect debris/waste empty trash containers and dispose properly
General cleaning duties include but are not limited to: sweeping/mopping floors window/mirror cleaning dusting dishware and cutlery cleaning furniture cleaning
Service clean and disinfect washrooms replenish consumable items (soap toilet rolls paper towels) as required
Removal and collection of linens as needed
Make a difference in the lives of each and every one of our guests by directly contributing to their extraordinary experiences
Exercise good judgment and demonstrate leadership abilities
Other duties as assigned

CLEANER POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Friendly professional and customer focused
Positive outgoingand friendly team player
Ability to tolerate cleaning products
Reliable with strong attention to detail
Ability to stay motivated when completing tasks
Ability to work independently and part of a team with minimal supervision
Previous cleaning experience an asset
Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and overnight shifts
Reliable transportation required
