As a Manufacturing Engineer at Medtronics Louisville CO facility youll play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence by championing continuous improvement initiatives and providing hands-on day-to-day support for the Kitting line across three dynamic business engineer will respond to and resolve production escalations collaborate with cross-functional teams and use data-driven approaches to troubleshoot issues and optimize processes ensuring consistent and reliable performance of the Kitting line.
This role is 100% onsite at our Louisville CO facility.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Design manufacturing processes procedures and production layouts for assemblies equipment installation processing machining and material handling.
Review non-conformances perform root cause analysis own CAPA investigations and implement preventive actions.
Create process supporting lean principles ensuring minimal wastage in the Production process.
Design sequence of operations and specify procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance.
May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan.
Inspect performance of databases equipment and tools to verify their efficiency and investigate and initiate corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality.
Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control and may develop those techniques.
Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques.
Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Requires a Bachelors degreeand minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR Masters degree with a minimum of 0 years relevant experience.

Bachelor degree in Engineering
Experience in Continuous improvement projects
Experience in validation (MVP/IQ/OQ/MSA/PQ) in a medical device environment
Knowledge of GD&T and problem-solving tools: MINITAB SIX SIGMA DOE CAPA DMAIC
Experience in manual and automated manufacturing equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid presentation and computer skills (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Projects/AutoCad/Creo etc.)
Project management skills to keep projects on track
Self-motivated attitude with the ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
