Job Summary

Job Title: Radiologic Technologist Interventional

Location: Syracuse NY 13210

Shift: Monday through Friday daytime hours with on-call requirements

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Cath Lab/Interventional Radiology preferred

Complete Description

Qualifications:

A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent
Active New York State license/registration
Minimum of one (1) year CT/MRI experience as a radiologic technologist required
Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance

Duties:

Perform radiographic examinations under the direction of departmental radiologists
Greet patients explain procedures position patients properly and set exposure factors to ensure quality images
Practice proper radiation safety and protection protocols to minimize unnecessary exposure
Operate imaging equipment efficiently and effectively to produce quality studies and report equipment malfunctions to the immediate supervisor
Process images maintain accurate records and enter data into the Radiology Information System for documentation and billing
Follow all department procedures and protocols as outlined in the Policy and Procedure Manual
Provide radiologic examinations based on referring physician and radiologist needs

Skills

Experience in the field: Required minimum 1 year
A.A.S. in Radiologic Technology: Required
License/Registration: Required
