What you would do as our new Quality Assurance Engineer
You would join a team of skilled developers and QA engineers working on APERIO a leading wireless access control technology by ASSA ABLOY that enables secure real-time electronic locking without complex wiring.

You would also:
Collaborate with global stakeholders who integrate our technology into various products contributing to our mission of helping people feel safe secure and experience a more open world.
Participate in the entire testing lifecycle including test planning analysis design implementation execution (system testing) and completion.
Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools to ensure high-quality product delivery.
Work in a cross-functional environment supporting both development and quality assurance efforts across embedded systems.

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who has:
5 years of experience in embedded Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Strong programming skills especially in Python Robot Framework and GitLab; experience with LabView C/C Zephyr Linux SQL or ODBC is a plus.
Hands-on knowledge of container technologies such as Docker.
Understanding of IP communication protocols including DNS DHCP and TLS.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and test automation plus a relevant . degree and fluency in English.

Ideally you would also have experience in system testing and HIL creation along with a background in agile development preferably using Scrum. Familiarity with low-power battery-operated products and wireless technologies such as BLE and Zigbee is valuable. Experience with automated testing and RFID credential technologies like Seos MIFARE DESFire ISO14443 and UWB is a plus. Knowledge of mobile access control and an understanding of current standards and trends in IoT connectivity and cybersecurity are also highly beneficial.
