YSS is seeking an enthusiastic caring fun compassionate Kids Club Site Coordinatorto join our team atUnited Elementary!
The goal of Kids Club is to develop a safe worthwhile educational and fun experience for the children who participate. As the Site Coordinator you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation and programming at our United location. As part of our well-trained dedicated staff you will strive to create an environment where children can build positive relationships with caring adults. Other responsibilities include:
- Plan and implement all-day programming during the school year in-service days winter break spring break and summer.
- Work with staff and community resources to identify recreational and educational activities.
- Develop a structured service-learning plan for each school year implementing themed monthly activities that align with program goals.
- Provide leadership to site staff in the areas of behavior management teaching and administration.
- Oversee the daily program from start to finish including preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks.
- Supervise children in the program monitoring behavior participation and performance.
- Monitor check-in and check-out procedures ensuring authorized drop-offs and pickups.
- Track attendance payments relevant child and family data.
- Complete required paperwork and attend all meetings and training sessions.

MUST HAVES - Required Qualifications
- A High School Diploma/equivalent and three years of experience in an elementary/middle school child-care or child development setting.
or
- Associates or higher degree (preferred option) and at least one year of experience in an elementary/middle school child-care or child development setting
SHOULD HAVES - Preferred Qualifications
- CPR/First Aid Universal Precautions and Mandatory Reporter Trainingalready in your pocket or ready to earn within 3 months of joining us.
- Youve led beforewhether its a team classroom or program youve got supervisory experience and youre not afraid to use it.
- Confident dependable and ready to inspire others.
- Youre a natural communicatorclear friendly and professional in everything from casual chats to formal emails.
- Whether its kids coworkers families or community members you know how to connect.
- Chaos No problem. You stay calm positive and solution-focused when things get tricky.
- Quick thinker with a good sense of humor and even better instincts.
- You notice the little thingsyoure all about attention to detail.
