As a Staff Software Engineer (with Kotlin/Java) you will play a key role in a cross-functional engineering team shaping scaling and delivering robust e-commerce applications. Responsibilities:

Technical Ownership

• Lead the architecture scalability and performance of e-commerce applications.
• Drive clean maintainable and performant systems using best practices.
• Contribute hands-on to the codebase when needed and guide technical discussions.
• Set technical strategy anticipating future platform needs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner with Product Design UX and Program Management to align goals and deliver roadmap objectives.
• Establish strong relationships with stakeholders to balance product and technical priorities.
• Identify dependencies and remove blockers across engineering design and product.

Culture & Continuous Improvement

• Promote engineering efficiency automation and re-use through design patterns and modern practices.
• Define and measure KPIs to track team performance and business impact.
• Advocate for code quality and continuous learning through reviews design docs and knowledge-sharing.

Requirements:

Technical Expertise

• 5 years of software development experience with commercial deployments in production.
• Strong knowledge of Java/Kotlin and modern backend ecosystems.
• Deep understanding of agile lean and DevOps principles.

Collaboration & Communication

• Strong interpersonal skills with empathy for engineers customers and stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with fluent English to drive alignment and clarity across teams.
• Passion for technology elegant code and innovative problem-solving.
