Occupational Therapist (Day Shift) Location: Fort Pierce FL 34945
Shift: 12 hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time
Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)
Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients physical and functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic interventions to restore function improve mobility relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans progress and goals.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Adhere to regulatory and facility guidelines and protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Occupational Therapy Bachelors Degree (or higher)
- Active OT license in the state of Florida
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification-must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy within acute care inpatient or rehabilitation settings
- Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
