Job Summary

Occupational Therapist (Day Shift)

Location: Fort Pierce FL 34945

Shift: 12 hr Days 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM
Job Type: Permanent Full-Time

Guaranteed Hours: (36 hours/week)

Compensation: Based on experience (Negotiable)

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients physical and functional abilities and develop appropriate treatment plans.
Administer therapeutic interventions to restore function improve mobility relieve pain and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and families about treatment plans progress and goals.
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
Adhere to regulatory and facility guidelines and protocols.

Required Qualifications:

Occupational Therapy Bachelors Degree (or higher)
Active OT license in the state of Florida
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification-must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Occupational Therapy within acute care inpatient or rehabilitation settings
Strong interpersonal communication and organizational skills
