Backup Team Leader (mwd)

We at LAN IT 24 are currently Looking for Backup Team Leader for Following Locations Warsaw and Gdansk Hybrid work mode.

Tasks

• Architecture Designing Implementation and administration of the Data Protection and recovery
• Managing a team tasked with implementation and operations of a Backup infrastructure datacenter administration Backup servers Tape Backup Clients and operations that support the applications and business processes as required
• Ensure reliability recoverability and optimum performance of client dedicated environments
• Acting as a technical leader for visible and complex projects advocating for solutions across organizational boundaries
• Provide thought leadership on client handling customer call Management call.
• Participation in customer review meeting infra- review meeting and Team meeting
• Conduct daily reviews of backup activity monitor in order to identify unsuccessful backup jobs troubleshoot and resolve problems associated with backup jobs
• Continuous improvements and problem solving

Requirements

Requirements :-

• Relevant Experience: 10 years in IBM Storage Protect Data Protection and Business Continuity Plan (preferably as administrator)
• Qualification: Bachelors / Masters / Equivalent
• Experience in Managing Team for 7-8 Members
• Strong knowledge in High-availability implementations in large scale environments
• Technical expertise in Backup/Restore processes
• In depth knowledge and experience in Infrastructure Forecasting and Capacity Planning to streamline the data protection needs of the enterprise business
• Expert in backup planning and restoration for databases Oracle (RMAN) SAP and variationsDB2
• Expert in Library Management. Configuration and administration of any robotic device like IBM TS Libraries
• Must have intermediate level understanding and experience with SAN SWITCHES and Storage Administration. Hands on experience on SAN Switches (Zoning configuration etc)
• Must have some knowledge and experience in SAN environment such as IBM Huawei or NetApp
• Deep knowledge in Backup/Restore toolset (IBM Spectrum Protect).
• Deep Knowledge in basic IT-Infrastructure
• Service Orientation ITIL certification
• English fluency is mandatory.
