Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled PHP Magento Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Magento 2 developing custom extensions integrating third-party services and optimizing eCommerce websites for performance and scalability. You should be proficient in PHP MySQL JavaScript and front-end technologies with a strong understanding of eCommerce best practices.
Tasks
Develop customize and maintain Magento 2 eCommerce websites.
Build custom Magento modules and extensions as per business needs.
Optimize website performance and security.
Troubleshoot and resolve bugs compatibility issues and integration problems.
Implement third-party integrations such as payment gateways shipping APIs and CRM/ERP systems.
Work closely with designers marketers and other developers to enhance the user experience.
Maintain code quality and best development practices (MVC architecture OOP principles).
Perform version control management (Git) and maintain proper documentation.
Requirements
Proficiency in PHP MySQL JavaScript HTML CSS.
Hands-on experience with Magento 2 (theme development custom modules and backend customization).
Strong understanding of Magento architecture MVC framework and coding standards.
Experience in REST/SOAP API integrations.
Knowledge of Linux commands Composer and dependency management.
Familiarity with Magento security best practices and performance optimization.
Experience with ElasticSearch Redis Varnish or other caching mechanisms is a plus.
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines is an advantage.
Magento certifications (such as Magento 2 Certified Developer) are a plus.
