Job Description
Position Overview: Were seeking a Software DevOps Engineer with good expertise building and maintaining infrastructure as code. This role is perfect for a technical leader who thrives on system optimization values collaborative teamwork and takes ownership of delivering high-quality solutions.
Tasks
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code fostering a GitOps culture for automated version-controlled and trackable infrastructure changes
- Design and manage cloud infrastructure for distributed systems ensuring scalability to handle millions of records and users efficiently
- Set up and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to streamline code deployment and ensure continuous integration and delivery
- Implement monitoring logging and alerting systems to ensure real-time insights and proactive issue resolution maintaining system health and performance
- Work closely with domain experts the editorial team and development teams in an agile environment benefiting from a collaborative network that supports you through technical challenges
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in software development DevOps or related technical roles
- Strong passion for learning and continuous improvement in fast-evolving technologies
- Experience with infrastructure automation and building systems that enhance scalability and reliability
- Understanding of cloud infrastructure and distributed systems with ability to work in complex high-availability environments
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform preferred) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred); knowledge of Cloudflare and GitLab is a plus
- Collaborative mindset - you enjoy working in teams sharing knowledge and helping colleagues grow
- Very good written and spoken German and English
