Job Summary

In cooperation with Deutsche Energy Terminal GmbH Gasfin is responsible for the construction commissioning and operations of the LNG terminals at the North Sea cost. The so-called Floating Storage and Regasification Units (FSRU) are of crucial importance for Germanys security of supply with natural gas.

Tasks

As a Gas Dispatching Specialist (m/f/d) you will support the commercial team with operational and administrative dispatching tasks including:

Coordinating and monitoring daily gas dispatching activities from FSRU to the grid
Tracking gas nominations and ensuring alignment with delivery schedules
Monitoring gas flows pressure levels and inventory balances in coordination with technical teams
Communicating with terminal users ship operators and grid operators to ensure smooth logistics and accurate scheduling
Maintaining dispatch records logs and operational reports
Supporting month-end reporting and reconciliation activities
Participating in process improvements and digitalization of dispatching workflows
Supporting the planning of ship-to-ship transfers in close coordination with the logistics and operations teams

Requirements

We are looking for a reliable team-oriented candidate with a structured working style and technical interest:

Completed vocational training or technical education in logistics energy systems industrial operations or a comparable field
Practical experience in gas energy utilities or industrial dispatching/logistics
Familiarity with dispatching procedures control room environments or terminal operations
Strong organizational and communication skills
Comfortable using digital tools (Excel dispatching software monitoring systems)
Good command of English (German is an asset)
Willingness to work in shifts on weekends or in rotating schedules
High sense of responsibility accuracy and reliability
Big plus if you have experience and knowledge in REMIT
Nice to have: Experience or knowledge in gas accounting or related energy sector processes
