About this role

As LLM / NLP Engineer at Themisphere you will contribute to the technical charge in building and refining the core models that power our products. Youll work closely with the founders the Head of AI and the product team to architect end-to-end machine learning solutions from preprocessing raw documents to training domain-specific LLMs. This is a unique opportunity to shape a greenfield product and influence the technology roadmap of our evolving software portfolio.

Tasks

• Develop and fine-tune LLM-based NLP models for document classification and information extraction.
• Implement OCR embeddings NER Encoder Only Classification and semantic search techniques to handle a wide range of document formats.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incorporate user feedback and iteratively improve accuracy and performance.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest NLP and LLM research and apply best practices to our pipelines.

Requirements

• Technical background: 2 years hands-on experience in NLP including working with transformer-based models (e.g. BERT GPT-4 LLaMa ...).
• Tooling & tech stack: proficiency in Python PyTorch and efficiency tools.
• Passionate about tech and AI actively engaged in the community.
• Problem-solving: strong analytical skills and the ability to break down complex problems into data-driven solutions.
• Adaptability: enthusiasm for working in a dynamic startup environment where priorities can shift.
• Collaboration: excellent communication and teamwork skills comfortable working closely with product managers annotators and other engineers.

The minimum salary for this position is according to the IT collective agreement (EUR 3.724 gross monthly salary for full-time employment). Your entry level and starting salary will be based on your qualification and experience.
