Job Description
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill or premature newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
- Collaborate with neonatologists respiratory therapists and other healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care
- Monitor and assess newborns vital signs progress and response to treatment
- Administer medications treatments and life-saving interventions as needed
- Educate and support families about their infants condition care procedures and discharge planning
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to hospital policies procedures and safety protocols
- Work 12-hour night shifts (7pm 7am) 3 days per week (36 hours/week) on a 13-week contract
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of NICU RN experience
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Active Massachusetts (MA) RN license
