Job Description
Duties/Responsibilities
-
Maintain full appointment schedule for office practice
-
Meet patient needs as they arise
-
Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic and treatment techniques and delegates and refer care as appropriate
-
Provide a full range of general dental services within the dentists defined scope of training
-
Obtain and record clients dental health history; evaluate patients intraoral & peri-oral hard and soft tissue condition; including caries endodontic/periodontal pathology soft tissue and developmental pathology
-
Develop patient treatment plan; including preventive endodontic periodontal restorative follow up care and maintain client charts
-
Provide and prescribe medications within area of specialty
Qualifications
-
Graduate of an accredited dental school with a Degree in Dentistry; DDS/DMD
-
Unrestricted License in State of Oregon
-
Current DEA Certificate without restrictions
-
Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
-
Ability to be credentialed with Medicaid Medicare private and other insurance
-
Demonstrated commitment to high quality health care for low income ethnically diverse populations
