Job Summary:
The Cruise Ship Nurse provides high-quality medical care to passengers and crew onboard. This includes emergency response routine health assessments patient care management and preventive health services. The role ensures the safety wellness and comfort of everyone onboard while adhering to maritime health regulations and protocols.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess treat and monitor patients with acute or chronic medical conditions.

Provide first aid emergency care and triage medical situations.
-
Administer medications injections and other prescribed treatments.
-
Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation.
-
Educate passengers and crew on health hygiene and disease prevention.
-
Assist in medical emergencies including evacuation or coordination with onshore medical facilities.
-
Collaborate with the ships medical team and other departments to ensure overall safety and well-being.
-
Manage medical inventory equipment and medications.
-
Comply with maritime health regulations including WHO SOLAS and CDC guidelines.
Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RN) license or equivalent.
-
Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferably in emergency primary care or travel medicine.

Knowledge of first aid CPR and emergency medical procedures.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and under pressure in challenging environments.

Physical ability to handle emergencies move equipment and assist patients.
-
Prior experience in maritime cruise or remote healthcare settings is a plus.
Qualifications:

Degree or diploma in Nursing.

Current RN license or equivalent.
-
Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Basic Life Support (BLS).

Experience in emergency care or travel medicine preferred.
