Job Summary
Responsible for small to medium projects. Ensures projects are completed within the time and cost limit as well as to the agreed
specifications. Responsible for co-ordinating the different groups involved in the project. Ensures detailed engineering layout is
carried out in an economically efficient way. Reports progress of project on a monthly basis. Establishes and maintains relationships
with clients.
Duties & Responsibilities

- Ability to research and study industry and related topics (environmental scanning)
- Expenditure Control
- Appropriate corrective action regarding cost exceeding budget is timeously taken
- Compile and review annual budget.
- Monitor all Divisional workshop operations
- Vehicles are inspected after servicing and repairs
- Quality standards are maintained
- Vehicles are test driven after a service or a repair
- Necessary arrangements are made when a vehicle accident or incident occur
- All legal requirements are complied with
- Stock checks are done randomly andsigned
- Close contact with suppliers of stock is maintained to ensure quality and service
- Tyre maintenance standards are maintained and spot checks are done
- Weekly service schedules are completed
- Fleet disposal and purchases
- Documents are checked for accuracy and the correct completion
- Service board is updated daily
- Monthly reports are submitted timeously according to the prescribed format
Minimum Requirements
Required qualification: Masters Diploma / NQF level 8
Years of experience: Up to 4 years in a similar role
