Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Henderson
Type: Full-time
Position Overview:
The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for installing troubleshooting repairing and maintaining production and facility equipment. This role ensures equipment operates safely reliably and efficiently supporting overall business goals through both scheduled preventive maintenance and emergency repairs.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform installations inspections and maintenance on production machinery and facility equipment.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical electrical pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
Read and interpret manuals blueprints and work orders to guide repairs and maintenance.
Replace or repair defective parts test equipment and make necessary adjustments.
Carry out preventive maintenance routines plumbing and carpentry as needed.
Use hand tools power tools meters and material handling equipment.
Identify faulty operations or defective materials and report to supervision.
Maintain clean safe and organized work areas.
Adhere to OSHA FDA GMP and all plant safety regulations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience.
4 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
Strong skills in hydraulics pneumatics mechanical systems and industrial maintenance.
PLC and HVAC knowledge preferred.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:
Exposure to food allergens and production environments with wheat nuts coconut and soy products.
Use of PPE is required at all times.
