Job Description
The Communications program at Elizabethtown College invites applications for an in-person part-time Adjunct Instructor to teach Communication Law and Ethics during the Spring 248 Communication Law and Ethics offers students an examination of the law related to the field of communications as well as its history and effects. Current ethical issues are explored through case studies. Analysis of legal and ethical issues affecting the media including the First Amendment defamation privacy news gathering obscenity copyright and broadcasting/telecommunications and the views of philosophers from Socrates to the present. The course meets twice a week on our campus. This is NOT A REMOTE teaching position. Please do not apply if you cannot be on campus. Schedule: Meets twice weekly for 80 minutes per session Format: In-person only (remote instruction is not available) Location: Elizabethtown College campus in Elizabethtown PA For consideration please provide cover letter CV and contact information for three references. Please also provide current ACT153 clearances consisting of PA Child Abuse PA State Police and FBI completed within the last five years if available.
